We were staying at a brand new hotel in Newport. It did have a restaurant, the food was good but not for what we paid. So we've eaten at Cafe Stephanie before so well called to see if they delivered and we were thrilled when they said YES! We both got the Tornado potatoes. They were so good and still hot! Even my Latte was almost too hot to drink! We had a nice relaxing day in our room after the best breakfast ever! Oh salt and pepper packets would help for those who want more.

Have frequented Cafe Stephanie on visits to Newport from Yachats. Best Greek omelette on the Coast. Best and highest use of Kalamata olives and feta. Simple presentation by unceasingly pleasant staff. Restaurant is spotlessly clean. She runs a great restaurant.

Small restaurant, with inside and outside seating. You order at the counter, but from there it's essentially table service. While the place isn't fancy, it was tidy and clean. Employees were all friendly and attentive. We ordered an egg plate with tornado potatoes minus the cheese plus a breakfast sandwich. Everything was cooked well, nice flavors and not over-salted. The potatoes were probably my favorite thing we had on the plates. Definitely a good breakfast option in Newport.

One of our most favorite breakfast spots in Nye Beach/Newport! Looking around at other people's meal choices I always get so tempted to try something else. But alas, I stick to their awesome ham, cheese & chive omelet! I also tried a half order of their marionberry crepes! It was once again all soooo delicious! They seem to nail everything to perfection. Their orange juice and potatoes are so tasty as well! All of their staff are so warm and welcoming! They seem to really enjoy their jobs. I guess who wouldn't when you live out there. The place is very centrally located smack dab in the middle of Nye Beach and it is super clean. We love sitting outside to "people watch." Cafe Stephanie allows dogs outside at their tables, but it's also really nice to just park our car on the main drag right in front of where we sit and talk to her through the window too. Can't wait to go back and have breakfast/brunch once again in our quaint little Nye Beach

We loved our visit to Cafe Stephanie. They vibe was perfect and the service was great. We both got a potato bowl and while they looked small, they were so filling and we couldn't finish them all. The lattes were great as well! We would highly recommend!

We came here for breakfast on Sunday. We decided to sit outside because it was a nice day. The service was great, they checked on us and kept our water and coffee full. We both got omelets (bay shrimp and salmon) and they were tasty. The omelets were fluffy, though the cheese amount was a bit high. All told it was a good amount of food and delicious. Note: If you sit outside, watch for a particular blackbird. He dived our forks a few times and scored some egg lol! Don't hesitate to splash some water his way, it seems to work. The server knew him and they shared some words. Seriously, he fluffed up and cheeped at us.

I have been intending to stop in at Cafe Stephanie for years. Yeah. I know. Well, then why haven't I been? Timing. I'm in Newport for work once a month, but my schedule keeps me tied up until after 14:00. Cafe Stephanie closes at 14:00. One of the people I used to work with also worked there, and she said I must get there some time. Another person I work with just recently said it's a favorite. Well I was just in Newport for a training, and we got done a little after 13:00, and a couple colleagues asked if we should grab lunch. I asked if there was a place they had in mind, they said no, so I said, "There's this place I've been wanting to try...." Off we went. It was the weekend, so we were worried it would be busy. There were tables open. It was quaint. Small, but quaint. I love the octopus painting across the wall. I bet it's nice to sit outside when it's not raining, but c'mon, that don't happen in January very often, and it was a very very wet day. It was extremely difficult to order. Not because it was inconvenient, but because the menu was just wow. My companions figured it out. One got the zucchini bread French toast. Wait. What? Zucchinin bread French toast? Get out! No. Seriously. And it was marvelous. The staff was happy to substitute the side dishes with a big smile. My other companion got the seared ahi sandwich, and it looked fantastic. I had a harder time. I thought about that ahi sandwich. I thought about tacos. I thought about breakfast.... I asked if they roast the pork for their Cubano in-house. Yep. I asked if I was choosing between the Reuben (in-house cured corned beef) or the Cubano, what was recommended. They said toss a coin. The dishwasher said get the Cuban. Next time I'll get the Reuben. Or the ahi. The Cubano was delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly and for sure not overbearing. Good music played from the back. Yeah. I will see about scooting out a little early maybe some time so I can get there before they close at 14:00. Probably won't happen, but if I'm over for some other reason I can swing on by.

Great breakfast & service @ Cafe Stephanie in Nye Beach on New Year's Day! This breakfast/lunch cafe was on the smaller size, but they made the most of their space. They had a 'wait to be seated sign' at the entrance, promptly acknowledged our presence and told us to pick a spot. We opted for the bar top, which had windows looking out to the street and ample counter space. The staff was friendly, gave us menus, and told us to order and pay at the service counter when we were ready. Our drinks were served quickly and our food came out hot with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed our meal and were checked on a couple times to make sure we were happy and had everything we wanted. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back when we make it to town again!

We were seated quickly as tables turned over in this fun little cafe. I loved that we were seated to review the menu before we ordered and payed at the counter - then have our meal delivered to our table. My mom ordered the pancakes with fruit and enjoyed it so much! I made a great decision in choosing the zucchini bread and crispy bacon. You guys!!! Order this and you won't be sorry! The spice of the zucchini bread with warm butter and syrup. So so delicious! The bacon - perfectly crisp. Next time you're in Newport be sure to visit this cafe!
